Julian O’Reilley

With more than 20 years of leadership experience across nonprofit and for‑profit organizations, Julian brings a people‑centered approach to organizational transition and a business mindset to financial challenges. Her experience spans education, food systems and hunger relief, social services, small business incubation and start‑ups, and LGBTQ+ advocacy. She has served in roles including Interim Executive Director, COO, Director of Operations, Finance Manager, Human Resources Consultant, and Major Gifts Officer, supporting complex organizations with multi‑million‑dollar budgets. Her leadership has helped organizations stabilize during periods of upheaval, move beyond founder‑led models, scale programs and revenue, improve systems, implement HR policies, and strengthen workplace culture.

Julian’s nonprofit career began in program development and fundraising in the Northeast, before relocating to Seattle to earn an MBA focused on Sustainability. She spent eight years with the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance, overseeing a seven‑market system and founding the Fresh Bucks low‑income food access program, while representing stakeholders before elected officials, funders, and the media. She later served as Managing Director and COO of AMO Enterprises, where she stabilized internal systems and grew sales across four retail locations, including through the COVID‑19 pandemic. She now focuses on nonprofit consulting and interim executive leadership, where she finds the work both effective and rewarding.

She holds an MBA from Presidio Graduate School (BGI), a Certificate in Change Management from the University of Washington, and a BA in English from Haverford College. Outside of work, she enjoys pottery, water sports, tennis, walking her dogs around Beacon Hill, and raising a middle schooler.
