Marianne Jones brings over 25 years of leadership experience as a senior executive in mission-driven organizations, including leading social justice and advocacy efforts for women and girls, expanding Boston-based medical housing programs with leading corporations and healthcare institutions, establishing innovative foundation and grantmaking programs, and serving as Board member and chair of arts organizations.
Marianne’s expertise includes strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and sustainability, nonprofit mergers, Board development and facilitation, and working collaboratively across sectors to ensure impact on key issues at the heart of mission-driven nonprofits.
Marianne has successfully engaged diverse stakeholders, leveraging local and national networks with community-based initiatives. Experienced with the media, as well as excellent communication skills, thoughtful listener and consensus builder, speaker; sought-after workshop leader; Board and staff trainer.
Marianne holds a B.A. from Reed College, Portland, Oregon and attended graduate school in linguistics at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
